Strength As A Skill - September 7th @12-2pm - $150
Learn the basic fundamentals of building strength! We'll be covering:
ππΌ The physics behind movement - Focusing on bone rhythm instead of muscle activation
ππΌ The basics of how to do the Squat, Press, Deadlift, Pushup, and Hardstyle swings + variations of those lifts
ππΌHow to use manual techniques, vision drills, breath and mobilizations to increase strength
ππΌHow to build tension and relaxation as a skill to increase strength and mobilityπͺπΌ
Getting Comfortable With The Ground - September 28th @12-2pm - $150
Falling is a leading cause of death, and as we age we tend to avoid getting on the floor. In this course we will be covering:
ππΌ How to fall safely in different directions
ππΌ Ground Flow and ground movement fluency. Most people don't know how to get up off the floor once they are down there so learn how to transition from on your back, to seated, to kneeling, to table top, to lunging, building better crawling skills, rolling, etc
ππΌ Neuro and manual techniques to improve equilibrioception, balance and stability
Kettlebell Curious? - October 12th @12-2pm - $150
This is the course I have been wanting to teach for the last 10 years of my career! Learn a new and fun way to add kettlebells into your exercise tool box. Novelty can be the secret ingredient that makes you fall back in love with movement and exercise and keep you consistently staying active in the years to come! In this course we will be covering:
ππΌDifferent variations of cleans, squats, lunges, presses, snatches, transitional movements, complexes and flows! If you want to get sweaty and have fun learning some new skills with the kettlebell, this course is for you! π₯
ππΌPlus different Neuro and Manual techniques to increase strength, stability, mobility and power π§ ποΈππΌπͺπΌπ¦ΆπΌ
If you are new to the kettlebell, this course is for you. If you have current pain, limited movement capacity, please call me first before you sign up to make sure this class is appropriate for you. Please bring a light kettlebell and medium weight kettlebell with you to the course.
For active/novice women likely a 6kg, and 10kg bell would be good
Intermediate 8kg, and 12kg
Advanced 12kg and 16kg
For active/novice men 12kg and 16kg
Intermediate 16kg and 20kg
Advanced 20kg and 24kg
